Mr. Harbans Lal Sarin (1.2.1910 – 10.2.1993)
Mr. Harbans Lal Sarin, Senior Advocate, was born on 1st February, 1910 at Village Kot Mathra Dass, named after his grandfather, a landlord, in District Lahore, now in Pakistan. He had his primary education at his village and after passing the matriculation examination completed his graduation in 1930 from the famous F.C. College, Lahore. On obtaining his LL.B. degree he was enrolled as a Member of the Bar on 23rd June, 1932 at Lahore. After the partition of the country he shifted to Shimla and since 1st January, 1955 was at Chandigarh where he established a successful legal practice.[Read More]

Mr. Ranjit Lal Sarin (12.6.1952 – 10.4.1990)
Mr. Ranjit Lal Sarin, Advocate, son of Mr. Harbans Lal Sarin, Senior Advocate, was born on 12thJune, 1952 at Simla. After receiving his school education from St. John’s High School, Chandigarh, he obtained his B.Com and M.B.A. degree with distinction from Panjab University at Chandigarh. As a student, Bitti (as he was known to his friends) took active part in many extra-curricular activities. He won over twenty prizes in debates and declamation contests, and was also a member of the University Swimming team.
